Mr. R.V Swamy, a civil engineer by profession, is an ardent devotee of SRI VISHNU. He is an expert in Indian “Vaasthu Shastra”, the art and science of channelizing the flow of energy through a ‘vaasthu’ or place of work, or dwelling. His deep knowledge in Vastu dates back to more than three decades. What started as a curiosity to unfold the reasons for the failures in the lives of his close friends and family, gave us all an outstanding Vastu expert. He developed interest in mastering Vastu Shastra, the science given by our ancient past. He had spent more than 400 sleepless nights to understand the great science and had done lot of researches to demonstrate the real power of Vastu. Vastu Shastra is an ancient science of design and architecture that combines all the five elements of nature and balances them with the man and the material. Vastu literally means “house” or Dwelling Place and its principles establish to create a harmony between the five elements viz. Earth, Sky, Fire, Water and Air. They evolved scientific methods and systems and confined them over the years as ‘VASTU SHASTRA’. Our sages SEARCHED it; we are only RESEARCHING it and building the concepts.
The ideal habitats, cultures, architecture and life have naturally shown exhilarence where all the five elements, to support life, are abundantly available and are suitable to human growth and evolution. This is an invisible and constant relation between these elements outside and those within an individual and in his living and working places. History and Origin: Vastu Shastra is an Indian science of design and architecture and how we may create spaces and environment that supports physical/spiritual health and prosperity. The Origin of Vastu shastra is difficult to be traced as it is lost in antiquity. The ancient Indian sages have divided the cosmic calendar into 4 broad stages, namely Kritha, Thretha, Dwapara, and Kaliyug. Man came on the scene perhaps in Threthayug and the origin of Vastu shastra is traced to this period only. During this period, knowledge was getting restricted to ruling and elite class of our society. Thus depriving the large society from getting the benefits of this science. In course of time, things have changed, democracy has replaced the autocratic government and more than anything else individual freedom has become the supreme possession of man. Further the present information explosion has had the beneficial efforts of making the science available to one and all. Vastu shastra appears to be an abstract science until we know actually.
